The Unfolding Story

In September 2018 we took a step of faith and put an offer on the Wishard Estate with just $14,354.00 in our bank account. Generous supporters quickly expanded that to reach $130,000 just prior to our Premier Give Her Wings fundraising dinner. In that one evening an additional $82,000 was infused into our account. Compassionate individuals and business continued to show their support and and our bank account increased.

Together we made it happen! One July 3, 2019 we invested $316,893 allowing the property at 7456 Angle Road, Chambersburg, PA to become the official home of Monarch’s Way.

We are astounded by the support of family, friends, businesses and this great community. Thank YOU and Praise God for His faithfulness.

Project Update ($200,000 needed)

The acquisition of the property has allowed us to begin some of the renovations and cast vision for all that needs to be accomplished before opening our doors to receive students.

While the majority of the renovations at Monarch’s Way are being completed by volunteers and contractors giving of their time and resources, several of the larger projects are under the oversight of Brechbill and Helman. This includes the installation of the HVAC system, new low flow toilets, 2 new construction, handicap bathrooms, dining room ceiling and a state required sprinkler system. We’ve pulled everything from the contract that can be completed by volunteers to keep the costs as low as possible and Brechbill and Helman has been very generous in their efforts to make the project a success for all involved.

Plans are completed, permits are in hand and the work is ready to begin! We are so excited to begin these projects as they are what is absolutely necessary to enable us to open our doors to struggling girls.

Unfortunately, we can not fully release Brechbill and Helman to fulfill their portion of the project because we do not yet have the necessary funds. Due to the gap that remains to fund the necessary renovations, we have asked Breckbill and Helman to put our project on hold until we have the funds in place to finance the work.

The funds needed to complete the renovations and Launch Monarch’s Way: $200,000

Would you consider a generous donation today to help us complete the necessary steps to transform this house into a residential school where the destinies of struggling girls will be forever changed? Join us! Be a part of the Monarch's Way story.
